(proper thumbnail TBA) Run this on TurboWarp for optimum performance and visuals: https://turbowarp.org/1383511866 Long time no see, glossy boi. Swooping in to work my cat-block magic and bring yet another BarryFans game a rev closer into existanciez. ^//v//^ Controls are the same as before: use W/S to accelerate or reverse, A/D to steer, and Space to jump. Arrow keys can now be used here, too.... though this should disable when in multiplayer. New to this version: jump while steering to drift and take sharp corners in stride. No need to hold jump; it releases when you go straight or jump again. Of course, this is to help abide by Scratch's four-key limit during multiplayer. (mini-turbos yet to come!) Also new: straying off-course slows you down. This uses a touching-colour block, which is primitive by my modern standards, but as a proof-of-concept it's palatable. With enough requisite care, it could even remain viable later down the line.... I dare you to touch the oil or water.... >;3 There's still a ways to go before we get a full race.... howzabout we take cues from a master coder dad such as @Finlay_Cool ? https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/36711178/ I've also witnessed potential in @freder1 's 3D experiment: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1215926103/ Credit to @BarryFans and @Ricky-Jan_test for the originals + @Hobson-TV for the current kart asset + @SuperCoolCoder9500 for a fisherplanet's cameo + Nintendo for SFX and BGM.
