The RNT-5A and RNT-5B are two classes of subway trains designed for different purposes, one is for fast, commuter-like express services that link two different areas, and one is for high capacity subway services that stop at many stations. Differences between the 5A and 5B Seating: The RNT-5A is designed for high capacity, frequent subway service, thus, it's seating is entirely longitudinal. The RNT-5B, however, is built for express services that skip many stops, like the Airport express, and is equipped with a mix of Transverse and Longitudinal seats. First Class: The RNT-5B is the ONLY Subway train that supports a proper first class, similar to Thameslink, First Class features padded seats, tables, a Self-service bar, and USB Ports. Traditional Gangway: The RNT-5B is in the process of getting traditional gangways for seamless connections between one car to another. This is also to reduce the number of incidents from some hooligans subway surfing for dumb reasons.
