Thanks to UltraRetroRayman for the YEAH theme! My 400th project! History & Development l l l l l V Rayman CD: Volume II was the side scroller sequel I had originally envisioned for Rayman CD. To say it was ambitious would be an understatement. Raytraceman would've had more powers (including a scooter & nova fist!) & there would've been more locations to explore. This tale would've been about a new protagonist (I don't think I ever named him) who finds a more complete SNES Rayman prototype that turns out to be hacked & ends up trapped in the game, he must now battle the hacker who trapped him, only to discover his dark secret..... There also would have been a B plot which involved the protagonist speaking out to Ancel (Yes, THAT Ancel) for guidance (This would've made use of the pitch bible), while he & his crew try to help the protagonist out (Ambitious story, I know.).
