so, I’ve been a fan of trigger happy havoc for awhile now, but ive always been worried about playing the other games because i dont think i can HANDLE any more misery and heartbreak. I finally decided to get over that, though, and buy Danganronpa Goodbye Despair! So, before I fully complete the game, I decided I was going to make a blind rating! Technically it isn’t COMPLETELY blind as I’ve already been through all the character introductions, BUT I haven’t made it past the introductions, SO I don’t know any of the key plot points beyond the island and Usami So, RATING TIME: 1. Gundham Tanaka : I really like Gundham’s introduction and design the most. Yes, I KNOW they spent their entire introduction calling us trash, BUT I really like characters with eccentric personalities like Gundham. Also, he has HAMSTERS. really the jack of all trades. Also he’s a chuunibyou, one of my favorite character tropes. So, yeah! He kinda reminds me of Kiyotaka Ishimaru in a way idk why 2. Ibuki Mioda : Same ordeal as Gundham! She’s really passionate and eccentric and silly and also her design is peakness. I really like her I think. I can already predict she’s gonna perish tho. I can never be happy. 3. Nekomaru Nidai : I do not know WHY there’s not more content of this character. They seem really cool! I like their passion like the other two. Their introduction with Hajime is funny lmao. Kinda reminds me of like Mondo in a way idk how to explain it tho maybe because they’re both muscular lmao 4. Peko Pekoyama : wow, the first rating to NOT be about how eccentric and passionate a character is! Idk they just seem cool and I like swords. I also really like their design! 5. Chiaki Nanami : I like video games 6. Kazuichi Soda : haha pink mechanic guy 7. Nagito Komaeda : god. This guy. I know this guy way too well. Even if you’re not in the fandom, you know this guy. But, uh, in the brief amount of time I’ve played the game, they seem.. uh, chill, and I’m so confused because all the videos I’ve seen of him are of him being DERANGED and now I’m confused on whether this is just the fandom being the fandom or if he’s secretly deranged. If he’s secretly deranged I may higher him on the ranking. I like characters who fake their personality at first. 8. Byakuya Togami : ok so I’m going to just GUESS this isn’t the same Byakuya as THH. Idk for some reason I just like them better than THH Byakuya. They seem almost less rude even though they have the same exact personality. 9. Hiyoko Saionji : what is a 10 year old kid doing in high school I’m crine. But anyways I can already tell they are feigning innocence by the way they insulted hajime but like whatever they’re cool 10. Hajime Hinata : they kinda just seem like another Makoto rn but they’re like still cool I guess. The mystery about their talent is keeping me engaged with them at least 11. Sonia Nevermind : idk about her personality but pretty design 12. Mikan Tsumiki : ultimate nurse? More like ultimate larped character. seriously why is this all the larpers favorite character (it’s fine if you like her and are not a larper they seem fine I guess just a bit annoying) 13. Mahiru Koizumi : annoying 14. Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu : even more annoying 15. Akane Owari : nothings much to report back on with them. They kinda seem like Aoi Asahina part two. 16. Teruteru Hanamura : hate? Hate? Let me tell you how much I’ve come to hate this character since I’ve first began to play danganronpa v2. I have over 200 old scratch accounts from two years ago. If the word “Hate” was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those alt accounts, it would not equal one trillionth of the hate I feel for Teruteru. Hate. Hate.
DONT GET MAD AT THIS, remember I’ve only played a few minutes in, and I don’t know all the personalities and lore fully yet, just quick glimpses of them I will make another one once I’ve finished goodbye despair!
