In this worst-case scenario, Dan Robinson is killed by the tornado. Twistex survives, but they were injured badly.
Audio Recording (ignore this) Dan Robinson: A rapid rain curtain is forming up ahead... Dan Robinson: Twistex is approaching... Dan: What the— (brief thump, then a loud pitter-patter of rain) Dan: THIS WIND IS STRAINING MY CAR! (wind intensifies) Dan: TWISTEX JUST DISAPPEARED! I CAN'T SEE THEIR HEADLIGHTS! Dan: WE'RE IN THE TORNADO! (debris hits the vehicle, wind roars) Dan: SUBVORTEX— (loud winds, metal scraping, tires screech, followed by a massive impact that cuts off the recording) Dan Robinson's dashcam captures him frantically navigating Reuter Road as relentless sheets of rain lash the windshield, the tornado's jagged edge looming ominously. A splintered piece of wood crashes against the car, a stark reminder of the surrounding danger. The vehicle shudders violently in 110 mph winds, darkness enveloping everything as they are swept into the tornado. Twistex's headlights vanish, leaving only fear and uncertainty. The car tilts, rocks, and flips wildly, sliding over debris with metal clanging around him, before Dan is violently lifted into the churning vortex. The subvortex hovers over him for 32 seconds, propelling him 0.85 miles away, and the recording abruptly ends, leaving a haunting silence. The last image from his camcorder, captured approximately 12.6 seconds before his death, shows him inside the tornado.
