Click/Tap and hold to zoom in.] Haeres Ludorum – "Heir of the Games" in Latin Victor Kingsley is the youngest son of the most influential family in the Capital of Artificial Earth, and the son of the Head Gamemaster. He is a vessel of Heliotrope Elixir, the most powerful known Elixir. Despite being the younger of the Kingsley's two sons, Victor was given the title of heir. Classification: Nobility Species: Human Gender: Male (He/Him) Age: 26 (28 at the time of the Fragmentation) Sexuality: Bisexual Relatives/Relations: Henrik Kingsley (father), Laurelle Kingsley (mother), Scion Mors Kingsley (older brother) Backstory: [WIP] Victor Kingsley, son of Lord Henrik Kingsley and Laurelle Swan Kingsley. His family was highly influential, having been in power for generations. He descended from Jakesque Mauqaine, one of the first Gamemasters of Artificial Earth. Victor's father was often absent, only around to drill Capital Propaganda into his head. His mother, Laurelle, raised him until she died of an illness when he was 17. At age 18 he was sent to the Academy of Materials and Magic when a mysterious anomaly manifested physically in his right eye, changing its color from pale blue to violet. (This "anomaly" was Heliotrope Elixir.) Here he meets Minnow, a girl around his age who has the ability to see through objects and see visions of the future. When he was 16, his mother gifted him a white foal that he named Coryn. He trained Coryn himself, forming a strong bond with the horse. When his mother passed away the next year, the colt was the only thing that brought him solace. By the time he was 24, he graduated from the Academy. He then worked as an apprentice Gamemaster under his father. 2 years later, he was sent by his father on an important mission to the Monument of Lorien, where the sons of the other Gamemasters had gathered for an important gala– which was also a test. Along the way, he came across a girl during a storm who fell from a ledge while fleeing a Rex. He asked her where her camp is located, and helped her onto Coryn's back. He returned her to her home, learning that she lives in a large camp– more of a village really. Victor caught on quickly that the village-like camp was the start of a rebel spark, but curiosity got the better of him, and after finishing his mission at the Lorien Gala, he returned to the camp pretending to merely be inquiring after the girl he'd rescued. The girl is the daughter of Athena Skarsfjord, leader of the growing Rebellion. Athena's daughter, Shiloh (who goes by Echo), slowly befriends Victor. They both share a love for horses. In an attempt to throw off growing suspicions from several members of the Gamemasters' families, Victor planned to return to the Capital for a while. After receiving an encoded message, he agrees to meet with Gabriel, however this proves to be a trap. Gabriel uses a strong illegal interrogation substance to gain the information of the location of Athena's community with some difficulty. After the event of the Capital marching in on Athena's community, Victor remains in the capital for a short amount of time before Gabriel convinces him to help find Echo. Victor agrees, but for his own reasons. After two months of searching, the two return to the Capital empty handed. It wasn't until over two years later, after the events of the Fragmentation, that he would finally be reunited with Echo, in the form of The Merrovanah. [Important note!
