TETHER - swing, slingshot and survive! HOW TO PLAY Swing from glowing anchors, grab gold shards and stay ahead of the void. Don't touch the lava, and dodge the red mines. 1. Hold the mouse button (or Space) to fire your rope at the highlighted anchor. You swing from it. 2. Let go to fly. Release while you're swinging up and forward to slingshot toward the next anchor. 3. Hold again to grab the next anchor, and keep going as far as you can. The game never ends until you crash. CONTROLS Hold mouse button / Space / Up arrow - grab the highlighted anchor and swing Let go - release the rope and fly Click or Space - start the game, and retry after a crash L - open or close the leaderboard (on the title screen or the game over screen) M or the speaker icon (top right) - sound on/off Click anywhere - skip the Linear Labs intro TIPS - The anchor with the spinning brackets is the one you'll grab. If nothing is in range, your rope misses. - Your rope reels in while you hold, so a long swing builds speed. Let go at the right moment and you fly fast. - Each gold shard is worth 10 points times your multiplier. The multiplier climbs up to x8 as you chain shards, and drops back after about 4 seconds without one. - Passing close to a mine without touching it gives a CLOSE! bonus. - Score is the distance you travel in metres plus your bonus points. Every 250 m starts a new zone with a new colour theme. - The red void chases you from the left and gets faster the further you go. Falling into the lava at the bottom ends your run too. - Some mines drift up and down later in the run. Watch their pattern before you fly past. LEADERBOARD Your score is posted automatically when you crash. Open it any time with the LEADERBOARD button or the L key. The board shows the top 8 players, one entry per player (your best score). Names can be up to 20 characters. Scores are only posted when you are logged in to Scratch and the project is shared. Otherwise you'll see your local rank only. Good luck!
