“WHAT!?” That was the only thing Looey could possibly get out of his mouth. He stared at Scraps, who was avoiding eye contact with him. “I’m sorry, but we have to, Looey! Either she will turn into a twisted worse than what she is now, or she’ll die anyways, but slowly and painfully…” She exclaimed. No. No, that could NOT be true. “If you just hand her over to me, I can finish the job, fast and easy.” “NO!” Looey yelled. “No, there has to be some other way! We can fix her! We just need to-” “We can’t, ‘fix her,’ Looey. This is the only right way.” Scraps stated. It didn’t sound like she was about to change her mind. Looey gently pushed Yatta off of his legs, and grabbed his bat. “If you want to kill her, you’ll have to kill me too.” (Oh god… I’m being stupid! I can’t fight Scraps! Not like this!) Looey’s head was a mess, but he gripped the bat tightly anyways. “You don’t have to do this, Looey. There’s no point.” Scraps stated firmly. Goob, Vee, and Coal each seemed too stunned at the situation to even say anything. Just then, an elevator opened. They all whipped around. In the elevator were Finn and Cosmo. “LOOEY! WHERE ARE- oh, there you are!” Finn yelped. “We got so scared about you that we decided to come up ourselves and- OH NO!” Finn froze, staring at the sight of Yatta’s body. “Stay back.” Looey told them. Cautiously, they both went over to Goob, Vee, and Coal. “Oh, so you really DO want to fight? Wow… never thought you had it in you.” Scraps set Vee’s head down. “Scraps, don’t-” Vee started. She stopped talking, seeing how Scraps was looking. Scraps seemed to stiffen up. Looey did as well. There was complete silence and stillness for about ten seconds. Then, without any warning whatsoever, Scraps grabbed a crate with her tail and flung it at Looey! He panicked, and ducked as fast as he could. Scraps threw several more boxes and other heavy objects at him. Looey ran forwards, and smacked her with his bat, shattering one of the lenses on her glasses. She stumbled back, but quickly got up. Looey used those short few seconds to think about a strategy. It seemed that her tail had been dong most of the heavy-lifting and fighting. So, if he hit her tail, she would be without a weapon, and he could win! So, as Scraps had grabbed her next crate, Looey dashed beside her, and- CRACK! “AGH!” Scraps cried out, falling down and dropping the crate. Looey cringed, realizing that he probably hurt her really bad. Cosmo had let out a little yelp, Finn and Coal had backed away almost entirely, and Goob stayed where he was, in shock. Scraps grabbed her tail-cup, which had been cracked almost completely in half. Then, she pushed herself back onto her feet. “You little- HAH! I’LL END YOU, LOOEY! I didn’t even want to, but you are SO STUBBORN! I have no choice!” Scraps shot her tail out again, this time, completely shattering Looey’s bat. Looey stepped back a bit. “SIS, STOP!” Goob yelled to her. Scraps didn’t pay any attention to him. “We could have had a peaceful day! But no! You couldn’t let that happen, COULD YOU!?” Scraps cried. Looey continued to back up, not wanting what happened to his bat to happen to him as well. But, there was only so far he could go. He tripped and fell on one of the crates that Scraps had previously thrown. Scraps stared at him, rage in her eyes. She wound up her tail. It was aimed directly for his head. Huh. Maybe dying wouldn’t be so bad. Then he could be with Blot and… Maybe Yatta… As his eyes shut tight, and his body braced for impact, he waited for his life to end. But… the blow never came. He was suddenly covered in ichor. He had a chilling realization. If he hadn’t gotten hit… Then. Who. Had? He looked up.
