this took me SO LONG </3 the quality is chopped the quality is chopped the quality is chopped For the name im thinking Somnium (dream in latin), or Somni for short. Pronouns are she/her I have a solid idea for her backstory, it might go thru a few changes over time. Somni was born in what some would consider a parallel universe. Although that definition is very misleading, as it doesn't exist in a defined physical state. It is a dream world, made of numerous connected dimensions. It doesn't obey the rules of reality, distance, and time. Locations often change, and dimensional doors can be unassuming. Creatures that are born in the dream world or spend a prolonged amount of time there are changed by the world. It's not uncommon for creatures to accidentally enter the dream world and become trapped. Since Somnium was born in the dream world, she knows her way around the confusing space. She is very knowledgeable about it, but doesn't give away information to just anybody. Although not directly hostile to newcomers, she doesn't trust them. She knows some locations where it is possible to leave or enter the dream world, but will not tell newcomers. She has the ability to manipulate and summon small voids, which naturally occur in the dream world. Voids are similar to black holes, although they do not suck matter in. They can also function as doors to a nearby dimension. Sometimes, voids are actually just mouths for entities in the dream world. The other two characters featured are my OCs! Mylo (he/him): orange canine Mylo accidentally wound up in the dream world, and wants nothing more than to leave. Unfortunately, it's not easy to escape, and there are many terrifying creatures that live in the dream world. He is mistrustful of others because of this. He dislikes Somnium, because she refused to help him, and believes she wants him stuck in the dream world (or dead). In reality, Somnium doesn't think he is trustworthy. Bunny (she/they): rabbit mask Bunny was born in the dream world, and has lived there her whole life. They are always wearing a grey rabbit mask, which somehow acts as if it was her real face. Maybe it is. Bunny has never taken their mask off, so it's anybody's guess. In addition, her "ears" are actually a pair of scissors. She is very docile and gentle, and always seems calm. Mylo ran into her some time after getting stuck in the dream world, and she is assisting him in trying to find an escape. She doesn't know Somnium very well.
