CHAPTER 7 - Halloween part 2 A boy in a calico mask rushed through the crowd, a collection of small white, ginger and black tails clipped onto his shorts. He went by Nora. “Woah! I love your mask!” he smiled, stopping. “T-thanks! I love your calico mask too.” Nora stuttered, noticing the deep details on his. He rushed forwards. “Bye! Hope to see you around town!” Nora stared, puzzled. ‘He’s probably just dressing up as a calico. Nothing more.’ Nora thought, and carried on to the next house. Chapter 8 - Uh oh… “Oh hi Nora!” One of her friends called out. Nora tried to ignore her. “How are the kittens doing? Can I adopt one?” “No, they aren’t for adoption,” Nora growled. Her friends were always pestering her about wanting to adopt the kittens. “I saw the furry in town, wanna go cook him with me?” giggled her friend. Nora turned away. ‘That must be that boy!’ She thought. “No, mind your own business. He’s not a furry, he’s probably a therian,” Nora hissed. “What’s a therian? A weirder type of furry? I bet!” her friend chuckled, walking away. Chapter 9 - Gale has a mate? She shut her eyes, chenching her fists. Her soft bedcover was over her, and the lights were dim. Her mind flashed with images of two calicos, looking like they were laughing and having fun. They were smiling, and playing together. Nora shut her eyes, dreaming of those two cats. Her and… someone else. Someone she knew… Short chapter :P
