Exonium, also known as Exotic Matter is a rare and extreme form of matter, generally formed during neutron star collisions at the very center of the merging bodies. It is extremely dense and possesses an effective, negative gravitational coupling with baryonic matter. At sufficiently high densities and relativistic velocities, this interaction destabilizes ordinary matter, causing rapid structural disassembly.
