We can't control this obviously, but it'd be great if you didn't like speedrun death with these kits lol. ⊱ ────── {.⋅ ✯ ⋅.} ────── ⊰ ⊱┊Meet the parents! ₊˚ˑ༄ؘ [Sunspiders̶t̶a̶rsolace ("Cider") - She/he] ₊˚ˑ༄ؘ https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1350216465/ ╰┈➤ [Mother, Father, Dad, Mom] (really any parental terms work for Sunspider, but please don't use gender neutral ones, only fem and masc) Despite being a first-time parent who doesn't at all know what she's doing, Sunspidersolace will try his best to be a good role model for her kits. She'll mainly focus on teaching them things that he himself wished she had learned early on *cough cough self-love* in hopes of them having better lives that she does. Cider will embrace each kit's unique personality, but will strictly impose her own /moral/ values onto them, such as emphasizing kindness, loyalty, and forgiveness (Although please note that you are not at all required to make your kit be a perfect little angel simply because that is what Cider tries to teach). He will always try to be there for his kits, and will feel INCREDIBLY hurt if they withhold information from him. In that regard, Sunspider will /always/ want to hear about their lives, and may pry too much or cross boundaries if she believes it will help them. (cw is your favorite type of weather, hide it in a sentence) He may unintentionally play favorites, spending the most time with the kits that she believes require the most assistance. This may lead to accidental neglect of more independent kits, perhaps even fostering an environment where he unknowingly encourages passive codependence in exchange for attention, the exact opposite of what she plans to do. Sunspidersolace sees these kits as a chance at a new life after her demotion, one where she can be a regular warrior. But despite how long he's dreamed of this life, the past still haunts her. Cider will withhold or be vague about as much information from his past as possible, especially regarding Meadowhawkmoon, Leafhopperflight, Silverfishstar, Clan politics, or leadership in general. She naively hopes that he can keep the kits in the dark forever. If these kits aren't told by others that their father used to be a leader (which they likely will, let's be honest), then they will live their lives assuming that Silverfishstar was the leader the whole time, just as Sunspidersolace intended. When/if she is eventually forced to tell them what happened, the kits will receive a warped version of the truth, excluding many of the details about his leadership, including his shaky mental state and her causing Leafhopperfight's death. [Dobsonflydaydream - He/she/they/it] ₊˚ˑ༄ؘ ╰┈➤ [Father, Dad, Dada, Day, Mom/Mum, Mother, Mama] Sunny is not a good parent, nor is he a bad one. She’s never had a genuine parental figure that guided her through life, so she won’t know how to be like one. Instead, they’ll mix up what they learnt from Delphine and Divinedissonance. Dobsonflydaydream will aim to teach their kits pretty much everything- from making flower crowns to fighting foxes, Dobby will make sure his kits are prepared. Though her endless lectures and stories may grow old and boring with time, at least her kits will always have someone to turn to. They tend to treat their kits as younger siblings, which may cause them to send their kits into danger without realising it, or not being the most helpful when it comes to alive. All in all, it’ll act like a mentor to its kids, a shoulder to cry on, a teacher to learn from, and heart to beat in tune with.
