When I was watching videos on YouTube, I was wondering if I could go see any updates on the highway system on any of the videos on YouTube, I saw one of the videos that I-40/I-74 interchange was going to be open in 2 days like 2 days ago, and now it's open, and the entire country of Winston-Salem that I-74 was going to serve, was completed! It was only the eastern half of the beltway was part of I-74 (Former NC 74), and the western part of the beltway was going to be I-274! The former I-74 became NC 192! Now I will tell you how did that work out? Well, here's what it is... #1) Existence I-74 (1997-Current) NC 74 (2020-2026) NC 192 (2026-Current) #2) Notes I-74 (Former NC 74)(Former route became NC 192) NC 74 (Became part of I-74) NC 192 (Former I-74) #3) Stats I-74 (Winston-Salem: Finished)(Entire route: Unfinished) NC 74 (Finished)(Very short living complete route) NC 192 (Unfinished) If you live in Winston-Salem, North Carolina or near that country, the eastern half of the Winston-Salem beltway is finished, and the western half of the Winston-Salem beltway is to be I-274, but it won't start construction until 2030!
