So, there's some marginally good news, and some really bad news. Good news: The Blerper government has found Grand Prince Erik III. Bad news: Jonathan Schayr is holding him prisoner. And he has big plans. Just days ago, Schayr released a video to multiple big news corporations across Blerpusdorf and the government. The video simply contains Schayr and Erik III in a dimly lit room, while Schayr talks to the camera. He first explains that everything going on has been his fault. He orchestrated the break-in at the Tulberg Nuclear Power Plant. He then used Ketz's men to whisk Erik III away. Schayr's motivation for kidnapping the Grand Prince is as leverage, as his video comes with a list of demands. His demands include millions of guldstandets (Blerper currency), the repealing of van Dak's economic laws, the loosening of workplace regulations and trade security, van Dak publicly apologizing for (allegedly, according to extremist groups) purposefully starting the Blerper Civil War, a pardon and being ruled innocent on the plethora of crimes he needs to be charged for, and a free getaway to a country of his choosing, among other things. Otherwise? The hundreds of thousands of stolen documents from Tulberg will be publicly released completely uncensored, Schayr will cause more "damaging" public chaos... and Erik III vanishes once more. The whole government is in shambles. van Dak hasn't publicly appeared in three days - he's too stressed and busy with planning - so his press secretary is having to make all the announcements to the media. Some representatives have made little to no comment - most of whom were originally found to have been bankrolled by Schayr back during the Big Seven corruption scandal. Some call to cave in to the demands, while others say something more direct must be done. The whole public is generally united behind the government, despite their failure to stop the plot in the first place. Some outspoken critics say that van Dak should step down; they say that while he was the ideal pick in the time of crisis that was the Blerper Civil War, he's simply not suited to run the whole country. Others suggest that an entirely new government should be formed. Either way, something must be done. Cracks are reopening, ones that Blerpusdorf was really hoping to permanently seal. If the civil war hadn't just ended a year ago, they wouldn't be an issue. Of course, that's not the case - such a crisis hitting a young, new government could spell severe trouble. Especially if somebody decided to destabilize it from the inside...
tried to put way more effort into this via the wonders of animation animation looks fine but lip sync is clearly not very easy also sorry for just vanishing for a week at a time :/
