There are different types of CIP, and it is caused by genetics, and may pass down to Sunstone’s kits as it is hereditary. Sunstone’s CIP is caused by the SCN9A gene. Basically, the chemical signal after getting hurt does not travel to the brain ^^ Sunstone would have no pain reflex, e.g. if they touched something REALLY hot and started burning, he would not notice until they looked at it. Normal touch is unaffected, like pressure, hot/cold, vibration, etc. but without any pain. Sunstone would struggle to have empathy/understand other cats’ pain. This specific gene also means Sunstone cannot smell— this greatly affects his hunting and safety, as well as how other cats treat him. In fights, he may not notice their own injuries. Sunstone will become very paranoid/self-conscious of his CIP after kithood. | ✦ | voice claim 》Mickey mouse (giggles, for sm reason Sunstone just sounds like that to me) scent 》A mix of citrus and rose, like clothes dried in the sun scars 》N/A > where, when, how original designer 》 ✧. ┊archive.┊ .✧ former name(s) 》n/a former rank(s) 》n/a former residence(s) 》n/a status 》present | ✦ | birthday date 》9/18/26 birth place 》n/a d=ath date 》n/a d=ath place 》n/a reason of demise 》n/a ✧. ┊the lore.┊ .✧ | ✦ | kithood 》Sunstone meets Incandescentpaw apprentice 》N/A adult (healer/warrior?) 》N/A elder 》N/A ✧. ┊relationships.┊ .✧ Biological family members 》 > Sibling, Twilightkit ( ) Adoptive family members 》 > N/A | ✦ | friends 》 enemies 》 mutuals 》 | ✦ | partner(s) 》 former partner(s) 》 crush(es) 》 former crush(es) 》 ✧. ┊trivia.┊ .✧ > ✓ likes > fights, excitement, kindness, sunny days, talking > ✗ dislikes > loneliness, cloudy/stormy days, boredom, annoyance hobbies 》playfighting, drawing in the sand habits 》idk I need ideas wishes 》to be admired, for everyone to be happy, for it to always be sunny fears 》how people see him, and often the truth ✧. ┊links.┊ .✧ | ✦ | roleplay studio 》 relationship finder project 》link
