CHAPTER 4 "Which do you want?" John asked. "Start from the beginning!" Noah exclaimed. "Okay, okay," John said. And he began to tell the story of the legendary Black Bart. "A man was walking down a road, holding a box filled with money. He encountered Black Bart, who asked politely for the box. The man refused, until he saw rifles aiming at him from the bushes. The man nervously handed over the box, and found out that those rifles were just very cleverly rigged sticks. And Bart walked away with 160 dollars, and so the legend began." Noah clapped. "Yay! now let's play!!!" But just then, a voice called for them from the kitchen. "Jack! Noah! Time for dinner!" Noah grumbled. "Aww. I wanted to play." Jack chuckled. "We can play all you want when we get to Missouri, alright?" "Fine..." Noah said. He lightened up when he saw that dinner was Chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans--His favorite. He shouted with joy. "Yay!!!" Jack ate his dinner quickly and went to bed, where it was hard to sleep. How was he going to make any friends? He'd already had some very good friends of his own here, and he was bad at making new ones. But even with all those questions, all those worries, he somehow managed to fall asleep. When he woke up, he was already at the train station.
CHAPTER 5 "What? Why am I here already?" "No time!" Dad said. “We need to leave, now!” “Why?” Dad pointed to something he had thought was a myth: a tornado. “What…” The rumors were true! It got closer, and closer, and then… He shot up in bed, breathing very fast. He did a sigh of relief. It was a dream! Of course “tornadoes” were a myth. He dragged himself to the kitchen table, ate fast, and it was off to the train station for them. They got to the train, and… “Hold it right there.” Who was that… oh, it was just the ticket clerk. “Do you have the money?” “Yes we do,” said dad politely. He gave him the money and they got the tickets, and it was off to Missouri for them. They were about halfway there, when the train conductor gasped in shock. “Oh no, oh no no no no no. How do you stop this thing? Oh no no no.” Why was he so worried, it was a beautiful day out. But the closer they got, the more worried the train conductor got. “Why aren’t the emergency brakes working!?! Aaaahhhhh!!!” It was only when they actually got there was when he understood what was going on. “No. No. No. This cannot be happening,” Jack repeated to himself. But it was very clear that it was happening. It was the weather of his nightmares.
