With our whole operation having been known to be targeting New Orleans and making it even more evident by cutting New Orleans off from the rest of Louisiana, we will begin a surprise move and head straight for their capital Baton Rouge instead of New Orleans. Forces will shift westward and immediately begin marching straight towards the capital. Bombing campaigns will assist in dismantling any possible major opposition in our way before our troops embark in those areas. We will first begin surrounding the city while air campaigns bomb portions of the city and its surrounding areas that are known to be holding military equipment and defensive/offensive fortifications that could've slowed us down. Once that happens, we will speed up the encirclement knowing their forces have been weakened so we can then begin a siege of the city and capture it. An additional 20k troops are mobilized from Dixieland and are sent into the occupied territories to assist in putting down any insurgencies as best as we can before they get out of hand. We will also mobilize multiple sniper units and place them in different locations since they're more prepared for things like this as they don't rely on conventional power, just sneak and stealth and hiding out. Their goal is to take out anyone who is aiding these insurgencies that are making it harder and harder for us to transport units. Intel will be gathered in advance before they are mobilized so we don't take out people who weren't actually aiding these insurgents.
I AM NOT LOSING TO GUERRILLA FIGHTERS AGAIN.
