A bit of History: The monty hall problem is a classic probability problem from the popular TV show: Let's Make a Deal. There are 3 doors and behind one of them is a brand new card and the other 2 have nothing behind. The host (Monty Hall) let's the guest choose one of the doors in which they think the car is. Then the host, knowing behind which door the car is, uncovers one of the doors to reveal nothing. Monty then allows the guest to either switch his guess to the other door or stick with his current choice. You might think the odds of him choosing the door with the car are 1 in 2. But you would be mistaken. Play the Monty Hall problem simulator to find out if it is beneficial to switch or to stay with your option.
