OCSIN: 8 Name: Model 12R30 Port: 14/16 RPM: 3450 Manufacturer: Cyclone Siren Notes: The Model 12R30 was an experimental siren made by Cyclone Siren to rival Federal Signal's 500 series and the speed of CLM sirens. This is part of their 12R series and has many notable issues. Those include oil dripping from the rotator and rusting, the siren spinning too fast and causing the rotor to wear excessively, and occasionally for the rotator to be rusted so badly that the siren falls off while rotating. The 12R series was discontinued after only 3 years and this is the last surviving siren of the 12R series, though by the looks and sounds of it, it may not be long before this, too, fails.
