I hate missing you. I really, really do. we talked, I cried, you apologized. and at first, I didn't really care. that's what I told myself. you made it clear, confirmed my fear: I was just a small distraction. and you know, I tried to forget it every laugh, every sigh every trick, every lie. you made me happy. and that's hard to do. but for some damn reason, I fell in love with you. now when we talk, my heart hurts just hearing your voice. because you used to make me smile, make me laugh, with that stupid voice. I called it from the start, I knew we wouldn't last. but I ignored the warnings, the signals from our past. and dang it if I don't stay awake at night, remembering that look in your pretty blue eyes, when you promised that you'd make it right. you and your silk-covered lies. and despite my hurt, your words, I can't help but recall every time we laughed together. every time we smiled at each other. every time we were with each other. every laugh, every glance. why on earth, did I give you a second chance? but your happy. with her. the girl from before. so I'm here. and your there. and you know... I really hate missing you.
aghhh...these poems are starting to go in a theme if you didn't notice. no matter how many words I write, it just...doesn't feel like enough. ANYWAY. another poem lol.
