I forgot to add a deadline at first. The new deadline is October 25th. Results will be coming out 2-3 weeks after. Hey, everyone! I am so grateful to have finally hit 2,000 followers! And 37 more since then?? Holy crap, it's only been a week! Something I have always loved about the Scratch community is how kind and supportive everyone is. Thank you all for your sweet words and encouragement. You guys are amazing! I sometimes forget to respond to comments, but just know that I really appreciate all of your comments! Thank you so much for 2K! It means a lot to me <3 To celebrate, I couldn't decide if I wanted to do a DTA or a DMC. I love DTAs, but I do a lot of them. DMCs have always felt a little selfish to me, but people are always saying how much they love my OCs and a few of you suggested I do one. So I went with both! You could enter for one or the other, or do both if you'd like. ----------------------------------------------- DTA: DTA stands for Draw To Adopt. Basically, you pick a design from the DTA section, draw the design, and if I like your entry, you get to keep the character! You are more likely to win if you add a name and bio/backstory. Please don't enter if you aren't planning on using the character. You can change the design slightly, but please keep it recognizable. Changing name, species and gender is totally allowed! Designs: Assassin -Hooded cape -Bandages on left arm and tail -Dagger kept in thigh sheathe -Torn ear flops over Ranger (my favorite) -Cowboy hat -Fingerless gloves -Satchel -Rope tied around neck and arm -Bandana I will be judging based on which entry I like best. ----------------------------------------------- DMC: I have never done one before so please bear with me. DMC stands for Draw My Character (or Characters in this case.) Somewhat similar to a DMC, but instead of getting to keep the design, you win art from me of your own OCs. Please get creative and stylize the characters to your liking! Adding shading and backgrounds is all great! You can draw one of them separately, or draw them together! Please do not ship them. You may draw them interacting in any other way. Characters: Jupiter Gender: Male Species: Sort of if a dragon and a horse had a baby Personality: Grumpy, Ponderous, Easily annoyed, Introverted, Sarcastic Extra: He loves to chill in trees on snowy/rainy nights. More info: https://characterhub.com/character/jupiter-gg0FGQum?v=1 Clay Gender: Male Species: Kind of like a fluffy dragon with feathery wings Personality: Friendly, positive, goofy, childish Extra: He likes playing in the sunshine and laughing hard. Has a very short attention span. More info: https://characterhub.com/character/clay-GS54HNng?v=1 First place gets an animated fullbody or icon with minimal shading. An icon could have a more complex movement while a fullbody would have to be simpler. Second place gets a doodle sheet with shading. I put an example of one I did inside the project if you wanna see what I mean. I think they're cool. Third gets a shaded fullbody drawing of their character. I will have a first, second, and third for both Jupiter and Clay. ----------------------------------------------- Credits: Art/Character Design: Meesa Program: FireAlpaca Audio: Dreamer by The Head And The Heart <3 Special thanks to all of my followers!
