The Runaway Chapter 10 It had been a month since Cam had been k1ll3d by Marie's arrow. Medusa had brought Cam back to Relano. It turned out that Asuka had become the leader of Vera, Oreji and Sartuo's new name. Asuka had crashed out and tried to sh00t her with her r3v0lv3r. If Kyle wasn't there Medusa would not be alive. Medusa looked at the Marble training room. She had trained a lot and had mastered using the Crossbow. Medusa looked down at the Fresh Pair of Chakrams Marie had given her. Dark Fire had been using a Longbow during training. Medusa looked at the 2 other Shadow Warriors in the room. Next to them were weapons of different kinds. They gave off a slight and almost unnoticeable hum as they laid on the ground. Medusa looked at the pile of weapons that gave off the hum, they were clearly not just weapons. Medusa looked at Marie" What are those, and why are they humming?" She asked. "Magic weapons" Marie replied. "They cut the soul not the person "Dark Fire added. "Cause you could sense the magic you should be able to use one of them, without problems" Marie said. Medusa looked in the weapon pile and picked a mace from the pile. The Humm of the Magic mace seamed to amplify the second She had it in her hand. The Weapon was surprisingly lightweight. " I think Ill take this one if I'm able to" Medusa said holding the Mace in her hand. a muffled crash of thunder sounded echoing thought the room. The base was mostly sound proof other than that, you'd have no idea what was happening outside. Medusa bet it was raining hard out there. "Yes you may take it" Marie said. Medusa shoved into in her belt. The humming slightly disappeared when it entered her belt. "Don't forget they don't k1ll it just severs the soul from anything with a soul" Marie said. Medusa nodded at Marie. "Now we need to go over the plan, I believe you are ready" Marie said. Plan what was Marie talking about. "Alright you will be heading out to bring down the demon liar. They use to be innocent until one of the demons became leader, even thought though there d34d they still follow the old leaders ways. The Demon Liar will fall, the second we arrive". Marie looked at the crossbow at Medusa's side. "Now Medusa you will be in the back, You will use the crossbow, to fill in the time were we need to reload our weapons. Dark Fire you will assist me with your long bow, We will need the quick reloading of it. And I will be in front with Dark Fire I will use a crossbow. Crossbows are easier to carry and lighter than a longbow" Marie said. Marie then turned to a white board. "We found the best way to get in.There is a unused area of the liar we will use to get in. After we enter, we should have another empty room we can use to set up. The Next room is a little harder. I don't know how many Demons we will encounter in the third room, but that's the room of the main entrance witch is heavily guarded". "there are two paths, here we have to choose which one is quickest, and easiest to the leader of the Demons. Past that we will have to battle our way through rooms filled with demons. I don't want to admit it but there's a chance there were only 2 of us leave, and might be 1 if we do bad. Now If I tell you guys to run take the way we went in to get out. Now if we make it to the demon king, We have to k1ll him ASAP." "Do you understand?" Her voice was firm. "Yes" Medusa said. "I understand" Dark Fire answered. "Good we will start heading there in the morning" Marie said. "Now for now I have prepared a feast for the 3 of us, cause it might be the last" Marie added. (POV Change) I dont know if they'll be able to ,make it out alive Marie thought as she walked Medusa and Dark Fire to the room were the feast was set up. I've seen so many battles with monsters , Medusa has never fought one before, And Dark Fire was a retired demon hunter, but Marie didn't know how many times Dark Fire had to fight more than one. Marie wouldn't be able to save them if stuff went wrong. Marie had led many groups to battles against monsters, Many came back but lost many Warriors, Now Marie had to try and stop a Demon group with just 3 people, to try and keep the portal closed longer. Marie Thought that something like this wouldn't Happen. (+)
