( ❀ ) a hawthornhearth self-roleplay ❝ an indent on my heart a hollow expression in my eyes, light that will never return to me - anytime soon. ❞ hawthornhearth's eyes watched the water. the river lapping at their paws. a *meaningful* thought, cupped in their head. lamentdestiny's death, it wasn't a lie, it wasn't going to ever be *false*. a fabrication like that would only be of her own delusion, something she'd delude herself into believing. she hated the idea she wouldn't hear another story. she hated the idea she hadn't even talked much with her own mother. would've it been better she get attached or not at all? more attachment would've caused more pain, but, she still felt silly. she was full of thoughts, many full of doubt. it was overwhelming. everything was overwhelming. she'd found herself time to reflect. reflect on what she avoided mourning, avoidant, she was with the topic of death. but it was fragile, the topic. it's held up by a string of a spider web, so easy to crush apart, to pull away from her paws. would hearth had ever understood, why? that spider web near her paws, so delicate, like a life. why must the life of oneself be so cruel to be so quickly ripped away from a beating heart. eyes of light, joy, and all the happiness in the world. swept away by the harsh currents, the tides of life. like the river in front of her. she doubted it she doubted that life would ever be nice. it was only ever cruelty. but she'd make the most of it, wouldn't she? to honor lamentdestiny. luckypaw, and melodypaw. if only, those sharp claws hadn't dug them away pulled them away from their roots. then maybe. maybe.. it would've been meaningless thoughts that hawthornhearth had. she crushed the spider web under her paws. ❝ i let my gaze wash over the others around me. wishing one last thing, before i send my hopes to the stars. ❞ ( ❀ ) end of self-roleplay
