_~* Pearl Update *~_ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Update ~ I haven't ridden pearl for a while, so I decided some Western-style flatwork, know as Reining, would be nice for her [ and me ]. Since I don't specialize in Western, all rides teach me more. I went out to pearls pasture were she could be seen happily rolling around in the sand, and grabbed her halter. The moment she saw me she practically teleported to my side. I stood there in awe for a second before slipping on her halter. Since its been a while since our last ride I did a few minutes of lunging to get out her outburst of energy before getting all the sweat [ mixed with the sand from earlier ] off her. She patiently waited as I tacked her up and set out for the ring. As I mounted I could feel her practically begging to trot away, but I walked a lap [ against her will ] instead. After our walking lap was done we set off at a trot. We did circles at multiple ends of the arena in each direction before picking up a canter. She proudly cantered around with me for a while, and we did more reining work, before I called it good. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Life is Hard. So why not make life harder by making an update? T-T
