(click to see different versions) Pupfish are lyrixean fish that are related to the devil’s hole pupfish on earth, these fish are usually found in the waters around the exilitan republic, eating in jungles, or nesting on beaches, there are also 4 known species; Blue Pupfish: the Blue Pupfish is the most common pupfish, known for of course, its blue color, not much about this. Pseudoshark Pupfish: the Pseudoshark Pupfish is a species of pupfish colored like a shark, meant to scare away predators (which probably would not happen often since there isn’t much predators), these guys have beef with thrusterfishes (carnivores with thrusters on the back), and try to hoard them or flee so they don’t get eaten, anyways, on to the next one. Abyssal Pupfish: the Abyssal Pupfish is a species of pupfish, with abyssal coloration, of course, these little guys, like any abyssal creature species, do not always live in the abyss, they can be found in shallow waters too, usually nibbling on underwater flora and vegetation, they have excellent night vision and are just overall cool. Lighttail Pupfish: the Lighttail Pupfish is the only species of pupfish to live on another planet, which happens to be Objecia, these are usually found around whale island, and are sometimes preyed on by hyperpredatorial beaked whales, the girls are usually colored pink or purple, whilst the males are blue, they are thought to have been brought to Objecia through being accidentally swallowed by a space whale (these guys can survive digestion if alive!) and came straight out of the whale’s bottom, falling into Objecian waters, and eventually populating there.
