In this AU some of the abstractions get brought back, but it is a risky process. For each one, some of their code gets damaged or lost in the recovery process, for example Jax's legs get numb and stop working (so she uses the wheel chair.) But the only abstractions that can be recovered are ones that the cast has a clear memory of. So only Jax, Ribbit, Queenie, and Kaufmo get recovered. The damages for the others are: Ribbit requires knee braces to walk and one arm is stuck in the "T-rex" position, Queenie loses vision in one eye, and Kaufmo loses one of his arms (Caine offers to make him a prosthetic but Kaufmo refuses, saying "this can up my joke game") :D
