Read all the way before starting the game or you will be totally confused! 1. Click the green flag at least 5 times. Then wait for half a second and click it again, just to make sure it's been thouroughly clicked :D 2. Listen to the intro, then, when you're dropped outside your school, click on the archway to get in. 3. Click on the LeafWing to talk to her and hear what she has to say. You can then go in and out of rooms by clicking archways. The variable at the bottom tells you what room you are currently in. 4. Use the arrow keys to move and the space bar to fly. You can't steer while in the air, so be sure to get up a running start! When you are standing on your bed, use the down arrow to lie down. 5. Click on dragons to talk to them. When they have finished, you can click on them again to see if they have anything more to say. 6. When night comes, you will immediately be teleported to your room :) 7. On the second and third days, you are summoned to a classroom to have your lesson. Again, you just teleport :) 8. When outside, you can move around by walking into the edges like in a platformer. 9. If you find any bugs, glitches or things you don't understand, tell me in the comments! Same goes for if you have any questions or suggestions. 10. You can now go play the game. Or you can read on. Those are the things you can do in this game: -Fly around outside -Go to the music classroom and make music -Go to the art classroom and paint following the instructions that appear in-game -Plant plants on the balcony and eat them when they are ready -Read in the library (you can only read one of the scrolls and one of the books though) -Talk to other dragons! Look around outside and in all the classrooms to see if there is anyone to talk to. Do this every day because the dragons move around day to day. Have fun playing this!
This is THE most complicated project I have ever coded. On top of that, I set myself a challenge: to draw ALL the costumes used in this game. And I'm happy to say I succeeded – not one of those costumes comes from the Scratch costume library! This game is inspired by this project: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/383314660 Check it out! And of course a HUGE thank you to Tui T. Sutherland for writing Wings of Fire in the first place! Important note: This game does not take into account arc 4 of WoF because I started coding it before book 16 was published. Thanks to for being the first to love this project :) Hilarious names people have come up with so far: Flyswatter () Nightflier () Preycatcher () Eclipse - more awesome than hilarious but I'm adding it anyway () Tags: not sure what else to add so I'll just leave it there UPDATE: Wow thanks so much for 100+ views!
