NOTE: If you aren't comfortable with violence, I advise you not read this. Today, when I was going to school, I was attacked by a random man on the street. I was going my usual way but I was running to the train station because the train was going to come in 2 minutes, when this random guy deliberately made me bump into him by going in front of me, to which he used that as an excuse to push me onto the street. He wanted to pick a fight, but I saw through it and chose not to fight back and took a photo of him in that instant.
[CONTINUED] As soon as I got to the train station, I called my dad about it and also sent a photo of the suspect, where he told me to tell the school about it also as soon as I got there, which is what I did as soon as I reached the main entrance. The dean was involved, where I had to write a statement as well as show evidence of the suspect (according to her she recognized the man and said people complained about him before). The police were also involved, so they needed to take a statement from me and see a photo of the suspect. I can’t bro. I was shaking after that incident and when the nurse checked my blood pressure initially, it was HIGH. You often see things like this happen in the media, but never in my life could I imagine this would happen to me PERSONALLY. The fact that someone has the audacity to attack a minor in public is a whole different level, and also a serious felony. I don’t wanna give too many details about it so if you’re close friends with me, you can ask me personally. I’m doing fine now, but this could’ve all been avoided had I kept running instead of prioritizing my water bottle that fell from the initial bump over my life.
