USE TURBOWARP ITS FASTER: https://turbowarp.org/1381801993/ LEVEL CREATION INSTRUCTIONS: To make a map, make a new sprite called "layer #" and replace # with the y-level/height level you want this tilemap to apply to. this is infinitely scalable as long as you increase the maximum and minimum variables to fit the highest layer and lowest layer. To add Color, Make a new sprite and name it "(color) #" where color is the color you want to apply as a tilemap and the # is the layer these colors will be applied to. It's pretty simple to add more colors, just go to the color check function and nest another function in there in the same format the other ones are in that asks for a name of a color and then outputs the name of the color through the variable. CURRENT COLORS: -Red -Blue -Green -Dim (dimmer than standard yellow, added cuz I'm making the backrooms) -Brown -White -Base (yellow, called base because its the base color of the backrooms and I'm developing the backrooms) LIGHTBOX CREATION: Make a new sprite, and name it "Light Level # #" for the first hashtag, put a number between -5 and 8 that will be the light Level for this area. For the second hashtag, put the layer the lightbox will be applied to Then you can draw a tilemap for the shape/size of the lightbox in the costume editor. PLAYER INSTRUCTIONS: W-S to move forward and back A-D to strafe left and right Arrow keys to turn left, right, up, and down Space to jump X to reset vertical view angle (not very important but included for testing) 1-7 to change graphics settings (1 being good and 7 being bad but better fps) 0 and 9 are experimental graphics settings that are the best but are VERY laggy and reserved for high-end devices, although they no longer result in crashes due to a bug fix :D so ig you can TRY them, but the experience will just suck on low end devices X-X. 9 is the best graphics setting I added on this btw. OPTIMIZATION: -Removed like 30 Sprites that did nothing -Also removes the tilemap sprites I wasn't going to use for this demo -Removed a ton of stray scripts and code pieces because I have a bad habit of never deleting random scripts I take out "just in case" I want to add them back in later, but most of the time I never do.
wasd to move around arrow keys to turn q & e to change y/height level x to reset vertical view angle (mostly for testing) 1-7 to change resolution (7 is worst 1 is best, but higher resolutions lag more) 0 for experimental high res (need a VERY strong computer) 9 for experimental very high rise (need a VERY strong computer)
