Sign ups close December 1st, 2026 (date may be extended if not enough sign ups are gotten), because people are actually starting to sign up, the max amount of people joining will be 10 (subject to change depending on how many sign-ups are gotten) ID creation guide is at the bottom This camp can technically start with only 1 person, as this is more of a “just reach the end” type camp rather than last one standing. There can be multiple “winners” and there could even be no “winners” if everyone is eliminated. Multiple people may be eliminated for one case, no one could be eliminated for a case, it all depends on your entries. Here is a more obvious explanation of this camp, extra info, and submission rules: Instead of a normal competition object show, PROJECT: PALO will be much more a deduction one. Instead of challenges, you’ll get a missing persons case, and a handful of evidence. You’ll have to figure out what happened to that person. (This is different to a normal murder mystery, as you already know the who, but you need to figure out the how) You must present your conclusion, show why you got to that conclusion, and have the evidence to back it up. You may also ask citizens (a.k.a just ask me things) and you’ll get a in character response. If your questions are suspicious, (e.x. “Do you know what happened to [victim] at Camp Palo?”) there is a chance you’ll get arrested by law enforcement (eliminated). If you ask a citizen and use your response, you must write that down or else it’ll look like you pulled your conclusion from nothing. If you provide insufficient evidence to why you came to your conclusion, or don’t have any at all, you be punished (eliminated). You may present your information as pretty much anything (slideshow, animation of your oc explaining things, ect.), BUT your presentation must be at least a little appealing. Don’t just put text onto a white background with screenshots of scratch sprinkled about, make an actual effort to make it look good. Your entries will be rated on a few things: Did you reach the *right conclusion? Did you provide substantial evidence to back it up? Did you do anything suspicious? (Only applies if you ask citizens, and this score will override a good score if your suspicion is too high. This is the only score that can accumulate across cases, though it will decay over time) Did you make an effort to create an appealing collection? * If you reach the wrong conclusion, BUT have a VERY convincing argument, you may be allowed to pass, but you’ll be very close to the end of the chopping block. Scores will be provided AFTER a case closes, so that people can’t just copy another person’s work who got a high scoring. I will also check your project’s post dates, and anything that seems to just be a slight rewording of another’s work. Plagiarism will get you PERMANENTLY eliminated. Ai use will get you PERMANENTLY eliminated. Just use your own brain, okay? Joke entries will not be accepted. Stolen oc entries will not be accepted. Ai will not be accepted. Stolen png (you just took an image from google, doesn’t apply if you drew it yourself) entries will not be accepted. God/angel/overpowered entries will not be accepted. Non-object entries will not be accepted. It is recommended you use a character that you don’t care about losing (or just make this non-cannon), as at the end of the camp almost everyone ends up at least in prison. Unlike a lot of other camps, I do not need your oc’s assets, personality, or even a full body of them, as I will not be showing your oc on my end of PROJECT: PALO at all. Replace the word “name” for the name of your oc, and the way ids work are: 5-9 numbers 1-3 letters (all uppercase) no special characters no “funny” number or phrases (69, 420, guh, ect. bc this is a more serious camp) Slurs, swears, or other offensive/inappropriate ids will get you REPORTED and permanently put on a private dni list, which I’ll use to delete every single comment you make on my projects (if you are somehow not banned). Ids are used to determine who is apart of the group and not, and will be said upon elimination and cast reveal. ALSO DO NOT WORRY, J’S PUNISHMENT ISN’T ANYTHING THAT BAD, YOU JUST GET DEMOTED FROM DETECTIVE!
