First of all, for specification: When I said in the thumbnail "Including myself", I'm talking about in the future, like if I ever make a show or something. I do have a small YT channel, but scratch won't let me tag it, so... yeah :/ ~~~~~ Anyway, I feel like there has been FAR too much drama in the content creator world. I hate not being able to just ENJOY what I want to enjoy without feeling guilty because the creator(s) did something they shouldn't have! And yeah, the Leafy screenshot in the thumbnail is LITERALLY me right now. I already have PLENTY of drama in my life, I don't need any more from the internet. (I know there's always drama on the internet, but I am just so DONE.) Plus, I already had MORE than enough internet show drama from TADC. Yes, I'm a fan of TADC and Murder Drones, but I don't talk about them on this account because I have a hyper fixation on OSC related stuff, so my account is OSC centered. This happened with Jakeneutron, and now it's happening with Micheal (One of the two twins who made BFDI). For those who don't know what I'm talking about, I'm gonna try to explain it without actually outright saying what happened (don't get me wrong, I want to, but it's against scratch guidelines and I don't want to get banned.) Okay, so... For those who don't know, Jakeneutron is a music artist. He's made a lot of songs, including Make Believe (Which Tomotasauce sung in! I love Tomotasauce, he's my favorite content creator of all time! Anyway, that was off topic.), Don't Listen, Play my Way, and Jax Toy. I love his music a lot, but him and Kittensneeze (Another music artist, specializing in TADC songs, but her involvement in this did not effect me because I already did not support her.) Did some really bad stuff that I can't talk about, I don't even exactly remember what they did anymore, just know that it was REALLY bad. You'd probably be able to learn more about it by looking up something like "Jakeneutron and Kittensneeze controversy", if you want to know more about it. As for the OTHER situation... I only just found out about it, but Micheal (BFDI creator) did some really messed up stuff. I don't wanna talk about it any further to avoid breaking guidelines, but if you don't know what happened, go to this project, which is how I found out about this situation: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1381528599/ Anyway... The issue here is that I can NOT just stop listening to Jakeneutron's music. I can NOT just stop being a part of the BFDI fandom. Aside from the fact that I've already purchased a lot of Jakeneutron's music, and I've already bought several BFDI plushies... Jakeneutron's music plays a huge role in my day-to-day life. I listen to his music EVERYDAY. I absolutely LOVE it. I feel like dropping it would be impossible. That's the problem. I want to support my favorite content creators, because of course I do, but it's SO stressful when stuff like this happens. Hence the thumbnail. What are you SUPPOSED to do when someone whose music plays such a huge role in your life does something awful? When you can't just say "Welp, guess it's time to find a new music artist!"? I'm sorry for ranting but I'm just genuinely so frustrated with this entire situation. And as for BFDI? I LOVE BFDI. Like, I'm not even kidding, it's become a part of my identity (Inanimate Insanity and the OSC in general have too, but they're not relevant to this right now.). And again, I've come across the same issue: I can not just drop this show. And it's ESPECIALLY important to me because I'm about to be coming up on my 1 year anniversary of being a part of the BFDI fandom. I don't remember exactly when I started watching BFDI, but I REALLY got into it around October 2025. And speaking of anniversaries, this is a bit off topic, but if anyone was wondering, my anniversary of being a part of the II community will be January 2027. Anyway, back on topic: I don't want to have to leave the community just as I was coming up on my one year anniversary of being a part of it. All this is to say: I'm SO TIRED of all of this drama. I wanna talk about my vision for how I'd act as a content creator, but I'm running out of room, so I'm gonna continue this in notes and credits.
So, here's what I mean by "OSC project": I can't talk much about it, simply because it covers sensitive mental health topics. But, basically, this project is actually a SHOW. Like, something that I want to put out into the world on YT one day. (I also have a lot of other projects, but they're all books and aren't AS BIG of projects as this show is, and besides, they're off topic for this conversation anyway.) My object show is going to be called United. It is a NON-COMPETITION BASED object show. When I first got the idea for this show, it was as a non-competition based show. And, yeah, I have had some doubts about it being non-competition based, but then I realized: No. It already has enough tension without a competition. If there was a competition, it'd first of all feel INCREDIBLY forced, and second of all, it'd be too much going on. United's cast of characters all represent a different mental disability, except for Journal, who is the manager/owner of the hotel they all stay/live in, The Cozy Inn. Journal's personality is highly important to the story because, long story short, he knows practically everything about every single one of them. For clarification: It's not in a creepy way, it's in a sweet/caring way. But anyway, yeah, that's my show I wanna make one day. Sometimes I wonder if I should make the cast human instead, but then I think: Object shows' primary audiences are kids and teens. I want my show to reach EVERYONE who is struggling with mental health, but ESPECIALLY kids/teens, because there's already a lot of stuff happening in an adolescent's life, and mental health problems does not help. Also, I don't know how to animate humans :P I know how to animate and I'm an artist and author, btw. But, ANYWAY... If/when I make/upload my show, here's what I'd want to do as a content creator (Besides making merch if possible): 1. I'd obviously wanna interact with my fans! 2. Kind of an extension of the first point, but I'd really want to talk to fans who were struggling and help them. I'm empathetic by nature, which means I want to help people. I've also had really bad times in the past, so I know what it feels like to go through something upsetting and scary like a mental health disability. 3. Now we're looping back to the original topic of this: I would make sure not to say anything offensive or inappropriate at ALL TIMES, and at ALL LOCATIONS. Because, again, a lot of the OSC community are younger people, which means that there'd probably be younger people looking up to me. And if I knew I didn't feel well or that I was in a bad mood? I wouldn't do whatever I was going to do. If it was a scheduled livestream, I'd reschedule it. I would be SO upset with myself if I ever did something like Jakeneutron or Micheal did. Yeah, that's pretty much it. I actually feel a lot better after writing all that out. If you read this entire thing (including the first part in instructions), you're amazing, thank you so much for taking the time to read this! <3
