this will be my opinions, not facts, just based off of evidence that could be proven wrong or right. . . ok. uh the odd card situation. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, please refer to the link inside, it has a lot of information and evidence. But to say it in short: Michael/The creator of BFDI, has multiple alt accounts and has not been saying very nice things on them. Multiple team members such as the voice actor of one have left due to these comments. My opinion? I think if the allegations are true, then Michael is terrible and should apologize, and step down. It’d probably be best if the show had a hiatus, to regain team members/voice actors and calm the waters. I personally will not be quitting the osc, or stop making projects about it. I just won’t make any bfdi related ones I suppose. The osc has always meant a lot to me, and bfdi wasn’t what made it special. I acknowledge that bfdi is important in the community but, I don’t think that’s going to tear the community apart. The shows made afterwards, inspired by bfdi, aren’t going to disappear. Anyways, moral(s) of the day. 1. Supporting an individual creator. and supporting a team are different things. We shouldn’t boycott bfdi as a whole because that punishes the innocent creators, rather focus on Michael and his actions. 2. Take accountability for your actions. (Digital footprint) Pretty self explanatory, but everything you do and say is online, and probably will be able to be shared. Due to this, act kindly, and take action for what you do do wrong.
