...Link’s P.O.V... The atmosphere in Kakariko Village was heavy. Impa had guided Hyrule through so many ages, and seeing her empty chair felt wrong. Zelda stood near the front, her shoulders trembling slightly as she prepared to speak. I kept my hand resting on the hilt of my sword, my eyes scanning the lanterns and the surrounding cliffs. Suddenly, a strange rustling came from the rooftops. Before I could even draw my blade, a shower of spiked iron balls crashed into the center of the square. The somber silence shattered into chaos. red and black paper talismans fluttered through the air, and with a burst of red smoke, a dozen Yiga Footsoldiers and a towering Yiga Blademaster materialized."For Master Kohga!" the Blademaster roared, swinging a massive windcleaver right toward the altar.I jumped forward, parrying the gust of wind with my shield. I didn't say a word. I just drew my sword, ready to defend Impa's memory. ...Zelda’s P.O.V... Gasps and screams echoed through the village as the red smoke cleared. I couldn't believe it. To desecrate Impa’s funeral was a new low, even for the Yiga Clan."Protect the village!" Sidon’s voice boomed above the noise as he drew his tridents. Beside him, Riju drew her dual scimitars, sparks of lightning already crackling around her."They won't ruin this day," Paya whispered, her face pale but her eyes filled with a fierce determination I had never seen in her before. She gripped a Sheikah dagger tightly.I looked toward the front lines. Link was already a blur of motion, rushing straight toward the Blademaster. But as I watched him fight, I noticed a faint, familiar glow coming from his pocket. The Secret Stone he had found earlier was pulsing with light, reacting to the intense danger surrounding us.
...Link’s P.O.V... The Yiga Blademaster swung his windcleaver again, sending a gale of sharp air right at me. I ducked underneath it, but three more Footsoldiers lunged from the sides, their sickles flashing in the lantern light. As I braced to counter, the pocket of my tunic grew burning hot. The Secret Stone burst into a brilliant, blinding light. Power surged through my veins, making my sword hum with a strange, ancient energy."Link! Together!" a booming voice echoed. Sidon leaped into the air, landing right at my side. He spun his tridents, creating a massive, swirling ring of water that shielded us from the enemy attacks.I didn't hesitate. I channeled the glowing energy from the Secret Stone straight into Sidon’s barrier. The water instantly infused with a brilliant light, expanding into a giant, glowing tidal wave. With a fierce nod from Sidon, we unleashed it together. ...Sidon’s P.O.V... I have fought alongside Link many times, but I have never felt power like this! The energy from his Secret Stone amplified my water manipulation tenfold."Ha!" I shouted, thrusting my tridents forward. Our combined glowing wave swept across the village square. It didn't hurt the villagers or damage the buildings, but it struck the Yiga Clan with the force of a crashing ocean. The Footsoldiers were lifted off their feet, their weapons flying from their hands as they were washed backward. The heavy blast of water sent the Blademaster tumbling across the dirt. Drenched, dizzy, and completely disarmed, he scrambled to his feet."This isn't over!" he spluttered, coughing up a mouthful of water. With a frantic snap of his fingers, a puff of red smoke enveloped the remaining Yiga members. When the smoke cleared, they were entirely gone, leaving behind nothing but wet footprints and a handful of dropped bananas. The village fell quiet again, the threat neutralized.
