I know my last camp got canceled at like episode 2, BUT THAT’S BECAUSE ONLY TWO PEOPLE PARTICIPATED! I think the problem was challenges weren’t interesting, so I have an idea… A deduction based camp where you are solving missing persons cases. Each challenge focuses on one case, and you are given evidence to what happened during the introduction. This, however, is not the extent of how I will interact every challenge. Instead of me (the host) only giving the challenge, going hands off, then doing elimination, I will act as various witnesses and citizens you may ask for information from! These are imperfect people, so they will not just say “Yadada went missing due to them going into a cave and dying to a bear attack!” but instead say something like “I heard Yadada liked to go cave diving.” and in one of the backgrounds provided will be a cave that is said to be inhabited by bears. The way challenges would be scored would be: 1. Accuracy, how close were you actually to the right conclusion? Is it just a general guess or a fully detailed explanation? 2. Effort, how thorough were you being? Did you just jump to a conclusion, or did you assemble evidence and asked witnesses and citizens? 3. How traceable are your actions? Were you asking people highly suspicious questions, or trying to be more subtle? [context: you are apart of an ILLEGAL vigilante group, and thus if you get caught, you’ll get arrested] Would anyone be interested in this?
