Observant: Fog would rather stay on the sidelines than be involved with anything. Due to this he’s excellent at reading cats but not necessarily understanding them. He’s learned to notice the small details since no one has really done that for him before. Precocious: This trait will mainly apply to his earlier years. As a kit he has a surprising amount of intellect and maturity, causing him to feel odd and awkward around others his age. Loyal: Fog has a strong sense of duty for his clan. His unwavering loyalty is to be admired. Dependable and hardworking: You can always count on Fog to try his absolute best on everything. This can cause him to get burnt out often. Sadly he doesn’t know what break is ToT Stoic and inscrutable: Fog goes through a lot of hard things but his face stays the same. This is because he doesn’t know how to act when he feels pain. He’s very hard to read and doesn’t have a very welcoming face so cats don’t converse with him much. Fatalistic: He believes that all events are inevitable and that he has no control over his life. Fog despises Starclan for this. In most cases a cat who feels this way would give up and become lazy but he does quite the opposite. He does this because he wants to spite Starclan, hoping they’d see he won’t fall into the same path many have fallen into before him. Taciturn: He feels that most conversations are unnecessary such as small talk. So this causes him to talk as little as possible. Austere: He’s quite a strict cat despite appearing quiet and calm. He thinks anything comfort inducing or extra is unnecessary and shouldn’t be indulged in because it’s a waste of time and space. Brutally honest BUT polite?: When something displeases him but it’s not super important to say, he won’t say it. Such as saying that he dislikes someone’s fur. However, if they ask they are getting a short, offensive comment that is fully truthful. If it is important such as how someone defends themself they are receiving his true thoughts as well. He can’t lie for the life of him.
Hard to notice: It’s self explanatory but there’s more. He isn’t very extraordinary at first glance personality wise. His only defining traits are his eyes and his boring personality. This causes him not to be recognized for his talents and hard work very often. Any compliment or recognition would make him feel over the moon. Independent: To not feel like a burden, he prefers to do things on his own. Another reason he likes to work alone is because if he works in a group, cats will recognize his teammates for /his/ work. They can also make him fail. So in a way he doesn’t want to feel like dead weight but doesn’t want others to be the same too. Logical: If a situation appears where the logical solution involves making the other cat feel hurt, he’ll choose the logical option. He does this because in the long run it will benefit the clan. Dry ahh sense of humor: Fog usually doesn’t show any signs of humor and takes things really seriously. But sometimes if he’s tired or comfortable around a cat he’ll make a wry comment with a deadpan face, usually causing the cat to feel confused. He adores subtle irony. Pessimistic: He thinks if he always assumes the worst he’ll never be disappointed. Sadly this isn’t true and just makes him feel even more melancholy. Censorious, fastidious and perfectionist: Fog is severely critical to everyone but most of all: himself. This causes him to feel like any small mistake that he or anyone does should be fixed and judged immediately so it doesn’t happen again. If one thing goes wrong for him, he’ll fall into a depressive state, feeling like all of his progress has collapsed. Martyr Complex: This isn’t a disorder but a psychological pattern that happens.
