The next morning the mom came downstairs and asked the dad where had Max gone. The dad told the mom what had happened. She was MAD. The mom left the house where the dad was and left with Hansel and Gretel. Hansel asked their mom where was Max. So the mom told them what had happened to their young brother. They were also MAD. 2 years had now passed since Max had turned into a crow. The mom was still very nice to the kids. Then there was her stepdad, who was tall and a hardworking man. He worked as a miner, and the mom worked at a cotton mill. Now the real dad married a woman who was evil and rude, just like him. The dad worked as a lumberjack, and their stepmom worked as a janitor. One night, their dad and their stepmom went outside their house at midnight and went to the house where Hansel and Gretel's mom and stepdad lived. They snuck inside the house and crept upstairs where the mom, stepdad, and kids were sleeping. The dad took out his gun and shot down the mom and stepdad. The stepmom said this: "Do we really have to take the kids?" "Yes," said the dad. "Why?" "Everyone will start to hate on me, and I don't want to ruin me being the most famous in Greenville." "And I have a plan," finished the dad. Then they wrapped Hansel and Gretel up and took them to their home. They put Hansel and Gretel in a tent outside of their home. Hansel woke up first and saw that they were not in their home. Gretel then woke up and noticed the same. *now this tale gets really long and boring so I am going to skip to the night that it happened okay?* One night, Gretel had fallen into deep slumber. Hansel heard the stepmom and the stepdad talking before they went to bed. This is what he heard: "Next day I will take the kids out to cut down trees with me while you are at work. Before work, I will make cookies that make them sleepy. They will eat it and then they will fall asleep. And then I will leave them in the woods. If anyone asked, I will say that they just ran away." "Good idea," said that evil stepmom. And then they too fell into a deep slumber. Hansel had waited to hear the dad's snoring. Then he got up and got a handful of rocks and then went back to bed.
