Oh hi, it's me, JamesThePurpleEngine aka MrFunnyFunnel (I prefer being called MrFunnyFunnel tbh) Today I am revealing another Baldi game I am working on; this time it'll be on Scratch. Now I can hear you saying, "But James, what about Advanced Collection?" This is related to Advanced Collection, as you may ask. Well, "Baldi's Basics Test Game" is basically supposed to be a project where I test out functions, mechanics, and characters for Advanced Collection. So think of it less like its own separate game and more like a beta of Advanced Collection or a demo. I will release it once I have enough stuff implemented to qualify it as a game; this also allows people to be playtesters for the game. The only thing holding me back is issues with the camera. I don't want to be limited in what I can do with the map, so I am trying to make a scrolling camera engine. Now, I know it would be easier in PenguinMod, but I really want this to be on Scratch for people to play just in case they're at school and they're bored and want something Baldi-related to play. Also, I should note that the first version of the project might be full of placeholder assets and stuff, and there may be a ton of bugs I'll try to solve over time. I honestly don't know if this'll be on Scratch; I really want it to be, but I might have to release this on PenguinMod simply because PenguinMod has a camera extension to make things easier, while Scratch doesn't. I'll still try to keep this on Scratch.
