bless~ I cannot name this anime because one of the episodes was literally a black screen for three minutes and that same one had a lot of hallucinogenic, violent scenes and emetophobia-triggering content (namely in the opening) and uhm something else the filter definitely wouldn’t like that helped warrant it a pretty high age rating, so I won’t you can ask me offsite I guess bleh <3 I have one episode left but no no I will wait until tomorrow, I’ve been drawing this out for 4 months anyway I just don’t have words to describe it except for one that of course being “bless” since the main character is an angel and they literally call her an angel and have her probably seraphim size wings to drive home the point and she says “bless” a lot it’s like Ina’s “wah” or Kaela’s “dahlah” I respect that VA a lot for singing all the songs for the anime and doing English VA job too, EN voice actors have slowly begun to annoy me however so unless it’s an anime I watched fully/primarily in English I am no longer watching anime in English I need to draw fanart of these girls their conversations with Ame and each other are so cynical but so essential and it really builds their characters and I love them they were amazing to hear Nechika calling herself a knight, wearing a cross, but “escorting you to your personal hell” is very hypocritical but she’s amazing and her brothers are epic comic relief.. her dad is a very good character too, I’m sad he didn’t have much screen time Lollipop being called Purple Lollipop will never not be funny to me but she’s actually such a sweet person, very bubbly and she’s had one of my favorite arcs to watch develop, especially as someone who wants to send supas to my idols and one of her relationships hinging on one of hers Michica is so pretty for real her design is very lovely and while her personality is sharp and she’s made some odd decisions (such as smashing windows - don’t do that I sob don’t do that!!) she’s a strong character and her relationship with Kache is so wholesome it restores my whimsy Kache is the reason I found this anime, my YT recommended me a snippet of the third episode featuring her and because she seemed epic + has split hair at the beginning and. I love that, I chose to watch and was pleasantly surprised I am not even starting on Ame vro this anime has such cool prospects though, they cut to live action bits a few times to emphasize points of spike some realism in there and show blooming/withering flowers to display a character’s emotions or growth or passion.. and similarly they use swarms of colored bubbles to show emotion and though these vanish later and make me sad they were nice.. and there are random black screens with white text in Japanese and then again in English below it (without needing captions) and it’s such gorgeous phrasing for cynical things I need to make fanart I need to Lollipop reminds me uncannily of La+ and Hologirls have done INTERNET YAMERO / INTERNET OVERDOSE dance and vocal covers so maybe I’ll just draw them together or something, Lollipop is more wholesome but La+ is more purple so I still wanna draw Kache but she doesn’t have a super amazingly cool design, so maybe Michica instead?? And Nechika too her concert design is literally so fire wdym :stars: I have so much to say but I’ll shut up for now I’m almost done final episode tomorrow peak finishes tomorrow I am fully enlightened tomorrow <3
