Now that Ætherium has become settled on their capital of Ripperian V parts of the T-1616 Mothership that they arrived in are repurposed from now unoccupied housing areas into large factories and workspaces where the Synthetics (of which a majority of the colonists are) can begin work on building infrastructure, and more importantly starships. V-Class Frigates are constructed for exploration of nearby systems, the main focus being finding worlds that are rich in recourses to build better and more expensive ships. The V-Class will do for now as Ætherium's primary ship for its relative cheapness and ability to fulfill almost any role, though it is limited by its small size and barebones armament for Ætherium's standards. Each Frigate is sent to a different system, upon arrival probes are sent to each planet in the system to scan for their composition and conditions. Worlds that are found to have favorable conditions and recourses are then colonized. Although we brought with us blue prints for most of our home technology we simply lack the recourses and funds currently to build more expensive and advanced starships. We also attempt to establish contact with Lascion and discuss possible trade routes in the near future...
