"The 5 stars will once come together to join the 8 Lights of the Hollow. Only then will this world be complete." The first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was a bright light, illuminating the darkness all around me. I began following it, I didn’t know if I was going up or down, left or right. I just followed the feeling of the light, the bright light engrossing me. I felt my legs get tired but I didn’t stop, I just kept going. I finally reached it, I felt the warmth from it, the beauty, the endless feelings I didn’t know existed. I reached out to it, raising my hand in the air and capturing it for myself. However, when I pulled my hand back and opened my palm, there was nothing. I tried again, but I still couldn’t get it. I was confused, why can’t I get it? I dropped my head and began to walk back into the endless void of darkness. “Giving up already, little one?” I looked back, I didn’t see anything that the voice could’ve come from. I scanned the area just to make sure, when my eyes went back to the light. It was coming from the light. “Come now, Kai.” When I opened my eyes, I saw a clear blue sky with clouds. I looked around and saw buildings and structures I’ve never seen before. I sat up, I was in a narrow alleyway, sleeping next to a trash can. I stood up and brushed myself off. I started walking around aimlessly, I’m not sure what I’m supposed to be doing. I noticed something, it was a clear wall, but you couldn’t walk through it. I could see myself in it! I have platinum blonde hair, and baggy, messy clothes. I saw a man walking towards me. “Um, excuse me, what is this clear thing called?” I asked, hearing my own voice, it was soft but deep. The man looked me up and down, he pointed toward the clear wall and said “That?” “Yes,” “It’s a mirror.” He responded, smiling. I looked back at it and the man walked away. I started walking farther and farther. I don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing, this is my 4th time being reborn. I scratched my head. If I remember correctly in my last life before this one I was…hmm, I think I was a guard for queen Elizabeth? Wait, what year is this? An hour later, I spotted an Inn that read on the sign “Free beds and cable.” I opened the door and walked in, I looked around, then saw a man behind the counter. I walked up to the counter, I looked down at the man, he was fairly shorter than me. “Hi, how can I help you today?” He said, his voice was fairly deep. “Hey, can you tell me what year we're in?” I said, fidgeting with a pen sitting on the counter. “Uh, we're in 2026, it's January 2nd. 2026? Oh, god that was way farther from what I can remember, it was in the 1900’s, my last life, that was over a century ago. Sheesh. And this body's memories haven’t unlocked yet. Its usually faster than this. I ran a hand through my hair. “Uh, do I have to pay for the room?” I asked. “Yeah? I mean if you're staying, yeah.” I sighed, I rummaged through the pockets of my pants, nothing, not even a single penny. Well, I mean I guess that's why I was sleeping on the streets because I’m broke. I looked at the man and sighed. “Whats your name?” “Taehyun, yours?” “Uh…” I couldn’t remember, this body’s memories haven’t unlocked yet. Wait, the light said something to me before I woke up. “Mine’s Kai.” He nodded and smiled. Wow, he has a gorgeous smile, his teeth are so white. “Nice to finally meet you, I've been waiting."
