The Naramsinic Empire was founded in the year 2109 by Naram Ageid, the king of the city-state of Aens, he conquered several other city-states, destroying their walls and appointing governors over these cities. He also implemented a central language, one of the earliest in the world, and an effective postal system that allowed him to get news quickly and raise armies to crush any possible revolts. Then came the Great Destruction, in 980 B.C, during the reign of Naram the Fat. A series of natural disasters, and attacks from the Sea Peoples dismantled many regions under Naram's empire. A large amount was salvaged, under Naram's son, Naram the Strong, who reformed the military, and crushed several rebel armies at the Battle of the Zag River, one of the largest battles of the era, thousands of men clashed, and many died, but the empire was saved. Since then, the Naramsinic Empire has expanded it's economy, under the rule of Agammenon IV, "The Cultured", the empire has entered a second golden age of culture and science, discovering several planets and recording them. Under Agamemmnon IV, the Great Library at Aens was founded, keeping record much of the history of the empire. He also built the Colossus at Aens, which is a large statue of the God of Aens, the main and only God of the monotheistic religion, Oneism.
The military of the empire is large, which the extent during major campagin would be around 600,000 men, this system for recruitment, is the Kleronian system, created by Keros, an advisor to Emperor Agammenon III. It was a strict, bureaucratic system of universal peasant conscription. Troops from ages 20 to 48 are expected to serve when called up, equipment was distrubed based on combat role (ex: Heavy Infantry), all troops were trained first, and were expected to train even when not serving on a campaign. The Argyraspides are the central and elite professional heavy infantry, that act as the backbone and veteran troops. They are named the "Silver Shields", and are known for their effectiveness in the battlefield. We also pioneer the use of Cataphracts, heavy cavalry made to be heavy shock troops, to destroy infantry lines and flanks and allow our infantry to destroy what remains of the enemy troops. Usage of specialized light cavalry, who are famously known for their usage of bow-cavalry. These light cavalry are able to fire missiles from their horses, acting as skirmishers and harassing enemy armies before a battle and chasing after retreating troops and cutting them down.
