I've written a few (most unpublished here haha-) and mostly short stories. Q3: First person POV, second person POV, or third person POV? A: Hmmm...imma have to go with third person pov Q4: Do you have a favourite author? If so, who? A: Yes, Mary Oliver! She's a wonderful poet and I love how she writes about nature and life. Favorite story author is Orson Scott Card, I love his Sci-fi. Q5: Do you want to be a writer when you're older? A: Yes! But I foremost want to be a scientist, writing(poetry) will be something as more of a hobby/secondary. Q6: Do you have any advice for writers? If so, what is it? A: Write! Lots of it! All the time! As much as possible! Don't worry about anything just let words flow. Also read, read alot of works. Q7: When it comes to writing, are you a perfectionist? A: Yes..and no? More accurate to say I was. Now i'm too tired + more mature enough to not let that stop me. I'm trying to allow myself not to edit my work so much and let it be rawer and less filtered. Q8: Have you shared a story on scratch before? A: Yes! I've shared the short stories, "The Yellow" and "Mechanics of a Train" Q9: What's your favourite plot structure? (7 point plot structure, hero's journey plot structure, etc) A: Kishōtenketsu! I love stories with twists and good descriptions! Q10: What's your inspiration? A: Hmm...mostly, honestly, life? my life, and life in general ^^ I also take a great amount of inspiration from nature. More abstract, the spontaneity of thought. Q11: Do you like making graphic novels/comics? A: Ehhh, it's hard TvT I'm currently attempting to make a short comic though with my OC Mira. Q12: Poetry, or story writing? A: Poetry! <3 Q13: Fiction or non-fiction? A: Fictionnn Q14: What's your favourite book/series? A: How can I chose...how am I supposed to be able to choose / help- Q15: Do you believe in writers block? A: YES. ;w; Q16: What about reader's block? A: Yes? but I more so refer to it as a reader's slump Q17: Do you like putting references in your stories? (references to other books, a movie, songs, etc) A: Hmm, not usually? Sometimes i'll draw inspiration from like the classics but I don't usually sneak references into my writing. Q18: Do you like writing chapter books? A: Not particularly, too long, and takes too much time haha- Q19: Realistic fiction or unrealistic fiction? A: Realistic fiction? But i really love sci-fi but more so consider good sci-fi to be explained by the laws and rules of the world the author has developed. Q20: Have you ever written a character based on someone in real life? A: ehh? no, that seems strange to me =w= like then whenever i would think of the character i'd think of the irl person....so no- Q21: Do you give MBTI personality types to your characters? A: Ooo no, but that might be a good idea *takes notes* Q22: Writing in a notebook or writing on google docs? A: I do both! I don't really perfer one over the other but I use google docs a lot more because of convience.
Q23: What do you think is the best thing for someone to do when they get writers block? A: Honestly what works for me is taking a break, when i'm not able to write the worst thing I can do is force myself to write. I try to take it slow with unstructured writing sessions. Q24: When did you realize you wanted to be a writer? A: Oh no...time...my nemesis...about 3ishh years ago? Q25: Do you have a lot of OCs? A: Not really, I just have a handful. Q26: Do you have a lot of stories you are writing? A: No ;w; mostly just poems. Q27: What's the most difficult part of planning a story? A: Definingly figuring out the middle section of the plot. A theme is like war, coming of age, good vs evil, family, etc) A: struggle in general. as defined as the process of fighting against hardships. also found family tropes are fun to give to my OCs but i don't rly write abt that. Q39: Have you written characters with sad backstories? A: yes? but its purposeful not just to make them have a sad backstory. Q40: Have you ever written yourself in a story?
