So I was thinking of creating a community spec evo project for me and the couple of people that follow me and my work. That doesn’t mean it won’t be open to everyone, just I think my followers will be the only people to see it. But first, what is spec evo? Spec evo, or speculative evolution, is a subgenre of science fiction, where people imagine possible evolutionary futures for organisms in certain scenarios. Before I explain my idea, I want to state that while I believe in evolution, you do not have to too, and this project follows my personal interests and beliefs. Now that Thats out of the way, let’s get into the concept. The concept is a planet has been “seeded” with cats and a few others species. Our job is to document the future lineages, species, environments, continents, and ecosystems of this world. Welcome aboard scientists, for a journey of a lifetime.
If you want to join, please say so in the comments, it would mean a lot.
