So the entirety of Free Birds is canon to the Pokemon AU that I’ve been working on (The Minions Tictac AU). And the events of Free Birds are essentially the same, except this time instead of using S.T.E.V.E as their way of going back in time to the first Thanksgiving to get Turkeys off the menu, they use The DeLorean because why the heck not. (They stole it from Doc Brown at the Twin Pines Mall) but essentially the entire plot of the movie remains the same. They still go back in time to the first Thanksgiving to get turkeys off the menu, the meme quote is still said, and The Great Turkey is still a major plot point in this AU. But Jake and Reggie also corrupted the timeline. When Myles Standish got sucked into the void, multiple events of the timeline changed, obviously family members of Myles Standish that came from him and his wife no longer exist due to obvious reasons. But tons of other timeline-related events happened. They crashed the DeLorean right into the actual human version of professor Sada (resulting into the AU’s events of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet) and Technoblade is still alive in this AU because the timeline corruption erased cancer, but something major happened that the timeline corruption created. Apple and Kieran would have still been friends if Jake and Reggie never corrupted the Timeline, the Timeline corruption lead to the events of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet which means Joseph (Tictac’s trainer) would have met Kieran, and also Apple months after the Kieran battle, Joseph made fun of Apple for being friends with Kieran and got his friend group to join in, and that obviously lead to Apple unfriending Kieran so yeah, Jake and Reggie are the ones responsible for making Apple and Kieran’s friendship die, because they stole Doc Brown’s Time Machine and rammed it into Arven’s mom brutally.
Nintendo and The Pokemon Company. Relatively Media. Universal Pictures (references to the DeLorean from Back to the Future) TT Games (for creating Lego Dimensions, the game that gave me the idea to give Jake and Reggie the DeLorean) Music is the Free Birds theme C2A
