Appearance: Exhorresco often appears as what it reflects in it's target to be a deeply buried fear. Primal sometimes, deep-laiden trauma others, oftentimes mundane things such as a lost relative or past tormentor. Manifestation: As mentioned in the Appearance section, it searches it's victim's mind for their deepest fear. If not targeting someone, it will usually take shape as a formless, vantablack-esque mass. Innate Techniques: 1. Angler: Upon activating the Angler Technique, the user will have a brief look into their target's mind- Optionally using a pulse of CE to stimulate thinking and emotion. Limitations: This Technique cannot be used on deceased or unconscious targets, and the time in their mind is quite limited. It can also be countered by defocusing one's thoughts. Cursed Techniques: 1. Spike-point Tendril Technique: The user sprouts thin, spear-like tentacles from the shadows in their surroundings. They can Peirce through most standard materials, making blocking without CE moot. Weaknesses: In bright light, the tendrils decrease in strength significantly. They can also be cut and severed with normal blades if swung fast enough. 2. Degraded Copy This is like Yuta's copy Technique, though with a time limit. It can only copy a target's technique if the user's CE is directly in contact with the target, and only for a maximum of 10 minutes before having to be renewed. It can only store one CT at a time. 3. Emotion Siphon The user can siphon Curse Energy from their target's emotional state, feeding off of it as a fuel source. The output of this technique is completely dependant on the mood and intensity of the target. Backstory: ============================================= Exhorresco was born in a grim place. The slums of Tokyo. Specifically, a back alley. At first, he thought the place lively! It was inspiring to him, to be able to watch the tales of resistance, of tragedy, of valiance. At one point, he attempted to manifest himself physically. Many times, truly he did! He was nice, he was trying his hardest to be approachable- God knows he did! But all he ever felt. All he will ever feel. Is their emotions. Their raw. Writhing. Visceral emotions. Their fear towards him. Their anger towards him. Their terror, their dread, their traumas, their DISDAIN to him. What did he do? I've hurt nobody! He cried. Many times he did. Then he thought. Long he did. If I am to be a monster, he thought. Objectives: He wants to make the world forever live in fear of him, he believes it to be his purpose. Environment Manipulation: Rarely outside of it's domain, it will gather enough curse energy to physically distort surroundings to further instill fear into it's victims.
