let me ask you a question. what is YOUR oc? do you like it? .. now. another question. why does every single animator's oc look like this abomination? <<< obviously that is an over exaggeration, not EVERY animator uses this template but my point still stands. why? for those who live under rocks, i'll explain what an oc is first. an oc, or original character, is a creation of your own. it may be a human. perhaps an animal, or a reflection of how you see yourself. nonetheless, an oc is YOURS. no one else's, because its (supposed to be) unique. emphasis on unique. nowadays, everyone uses this exact base. a simple head. two oval eyes. a trapezoid torso, preferably with a hoodie design. attached onto it are four stick limbs. this has plagued scratch for years; i feel like the only one to talk about it. im not even sure why people use it in the first place. its simply generic, overused, and dull. i'll end it off with this. if your oc looks ANYTHING like this, intentional or not, please change it. it doesnt make you cool, just change it. put some effort into your ocs next time.
