Now trapped in the trials, Spite treats the horrific games like a twisted, chaotic joke, using their Broken Pendulum to aggressively bully the Killer by creating temporal shockwaves that freeze enemies in place. They mask their agonizing guilt with a loud, toxic, and deeply unsettling cackle, completely blind to the fact that their "Borrowed Time" passive—which shatters time to loop them backward out of a downing blow—is only possible because the ghostly silhouette of the person they murdered is still stepping in to save them.
