" on your marks.. get set.. bake! " · · ┈┈┈┈┈ · · ☁ · · ┈┈┈┈┈ · · hey guys :> welcome to the great fictional bakeoff! i've been in a great british bakeoff fever this summer, as you can probably tell, and once the idea of fictional characters doing the show wormed its way into my brain, I couldn't let it go. so here we are! hours upon hours of writing, art, design, and code later.. the great fictional bakeoff has finally been completed. it definitely didn't turn out exactly how I wanted it to-- these characters were some of the first things I drew in this new art style, and putting everything I wanted to in it just wasn't possible within the time frame-- but I think it still turned out okay :D my app this session went through so many themes; if I'm remembering correctly, I believe I started the art for five different ones :'> some of those are ones I definitely hope to bring to life another time, and others will probably be scrapped for the time being, but I think I would've eventually landed on this one no matter how many other ones I went through. it perfectly captures my personality and obsessions of late, and I really enjoyed coming up with all the different bakes and characters. my art style here is also kind of outdated because of how much i've been drawing recently so don't mind that bahaha :'D so, with all of that in mind.. welcome to the tent <3 · · ┈┈┈┈┈ · · ☁ · · ┈┈┈┈┈ · · navigation: press the arrows to go through the character pages, and click on any of the baked goods to see the answers, which you can click through or use the arrow keys :) · · ┈┈┈┈┈ · · ☁ · · ┈┈┈┈┈ · · nick - about me libby - past experience sloane - cabin preferences iko - time dedication and management louella - communication and accountabilily planchette - scenarios nina - swc impact kappa - cabin atmosphere gwen - checkboxes mabel - bonus · · ┈┈┈┈┈ · · ☁ · · ┈┈┈┈┈ · · text version - https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/897581/?page=1#post-9333307 · · ┈┈┈┈┈ · · ☁ · · ┈┈┈┈┈ · · credits: me for all art, answers, and design all media listed for the characters music is 'summer is for falling love' by sarah kang!! silvi, eva, mabel, kat, and kenzie for some super helpful app critiques, thank y'all so much <33 · · ┈┈┈┈┈ · · ☁ · · ┈┈┈┈┈ · ·
