holy scratch quality-- (if you have disc i can send hq) life stuff + rant below, actual on topic stuff in here 1. shiku!!! she has such a pretty design aaaa i'm very proud of the hair. also i tried out blue box style eyes + nose cause i'm obsessed with it. i modified the skin color and one of the clothes colors a little bit for contrast purposes 2. i played with color curves :P 3. astrophel! she's so cute! went for a nene ish eyeshape. I don't like the eye rendering cause they look way too soft but everything else is okay. proud of myself for doing lineart after only one sketch (i usually do like 3 sketch layers) and yayy a blending brush i finally found it! 4. blueberry!!! highly experimental, i did really two layers plus the eyes. no blend modes. the process was a lot different in general too, like the eyes didn't get added till later, and i used a large brush to shape out the pose instead of sketching, then i went pretty much straight to flats. i'm very proud of myself for trying something new, but holy style change... and i need to improve my clothes rendering, it's so sad compared to the face/hair. gang why do they both have the left shoulder up~ i need to favor a different shoulder (i mean at least i did both of them without refs) not me realizing too late that i think of light like halfway 3D instead of fully 3D TwT i like this new nose style
ughh school has been a lot. literally just one class of it though, i have the same evil english teacher as last year TwT. anyways, its good to be drawing again!!! (last digital art in july ._.) also, i got a pen tablet!!! IT TOOK THREE FREAKIN WEEKS TO COME >:( its so big and im so happy i can use better programs because my pc is very strong. it took a day to get used to, but krita's features are really good. the colorize mask and grow on the bucket tool and magic wand are PEAK. oh and also it has more blend modes and blurs and stuff that my old program, fresco, doesn't. i also didn't have to draw a wobbly white outline around the drawing, i just made one with the layer effects!!! yayayayay. after these pays, i'll probably attempt krita animation (and probably get started on those raffle prizes that i should've finished forever ago...) pray that i don't have homework from english lady this week TwT
