This is for users who were born while Scratch was in development (2003-2007) If you are in this group, use it however you want.
After the proposal of Scratch was accepted in 2003, Mitchel Resnick, Yasmin Kafai, and John Maeda spent the next 4 years developing a series of early versions collectively known as Scratch 0.x. They would experiment with different layouts, blocks and features, constantly adding, changing or scrapping them before settling on a consistent layout similar to Scratch 1.0's layout in 2005. Finally, the first public version, Scratch 1.0, was released in 2007 ---------------------------------- Comic Sans bold text by @papipupepappa
